According to the latest NFPA report, 65% of the fire service in the United States is made up of volunteer fire and EMS companies. Many of these organizations struggle to find personnel, leadership, and funding. The Modern Volunteer Fire Service was created in order to provide a path to success for volunteer organizations - whether they are struggling or are stable and just need refinement in a specific area. We aim to tackle the difficult behind the scenes work so that you can focus on providing a critical service to the community you serve.

The Modern Volunteer Fire Service, LLC. is based out of Baltimore, Maryland; however, we aim to serve clients all across the United States. Our organization is small so that we can deliver a professional service on a personal level and meet the needs of volunteer organizations and leaders. We understand that finances in the volunteer fire service can be challenging, therefore we will work with each company to provide the best results at a reasonable price. We are able to do that because of our small overhead.

Our team has extensive experience in the volunteer fire service, nonprofit management, and consulting. The Modern Volunteer Fire Service LLC. was created out of our passion to see the volunteer service overcome current obstacles, and remain sustainable well into the future. Allow us to help you navigate the day to day challenges or long term projects so that you can focus on running your department. While our focus is on emergency services, we are able to support other organizations as well.
